Who I am

I am Lekshmi Baburajan, trading as Lekshmi Baburajan Coaching & Consultancy, a UK sole trader. I am responsible for the personal information I collect and use in connection with this website and initial enquiries.

Information I collect

This website does not include an online contact form. If you choose to email me, I may receive your name, email address, any organisation or role details you choose to share, and the contents of your message.

When you visit the website, limited technical information may also be processed so that the website can be delivered securely, such as your IP address, device and browser information, and server logs.

Please avoid including highly sensitive personal information in your first email. If we begin working together, we can discuss the most appropriate and secure way to share any information needed.

Why I use your information

I use your information to:

read and respond to an enquiry you have sent;
consider whether my services may be suitable and discuss a possible next step;
run, protect and improve the security of this website; and
meet legal or regulatory obligations where necessary.

For initial enquiries, I rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For website security and administration, I rely on my legitimate interests in running a secure and effective business website. Where the law requires it, I will ask for your consent.

I use carefully selected service providers to operate the website and receive emails:

Netlify hosts this website and may process limited technical information needed to deliver it.
Microsoft Outlook is used to receive and send direct email enquiries.
Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the website. Your browser may connect to Google to display them.

I do not use an online contact-form processor, visitor analytics, advertising tracking, a newsletter service or a booking system on this website. I do not sell your personal information.

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, they are responsible for putting appropriate safeguards in place. You can find out more in their own privacy information.

How long I keep information

If we do not begin working together, I keep initial enquiry emails for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless I need to keep them for a legal reason.

If we begin working together, I will provide further information about how client, contract and accounting records are handled.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your information, to correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
